Lew Sorensen Community Center
The Lew Sorensen Community Center is holding a spring Pottery and Fine Art Show and Sale:
Sunday March 25, from 10 am to 3 pm. There will be light refreshments, music, and student and instructors artwork available.
Catherine Orrantia
SACA member, Catherine Orrantia was featured “regional artist” in the July issue of Tucson Lifestyle Home & Garden. The two-page spread shows some of her lovely functional pieces and a bit of her history and dreams for the future. Catherine built a new soda kiln this spring. She and Peggy Papay run Sonoran Desert Art Studio which offers a variety of clay workshops with distinguished ceramic artists.
