I think I have been a “CLAY ENTHUSIAST” forever. A friend told me about the SOUTHERN ARIZONA CLAY ARTISTS a few years ago and I have been an avid fan ever since. With no formal training in Pottery, I have come to greatly appreciate the exposure to the wide variety of workshops, lectures and social camaraderie offered by this organization.
I discovered the art of BONSAI about the same time as I discovered SACA. Having a disturbing lack of green thumbs, I began making Bonsai containers for others who were more horticulturally gifted than I am. And then came the animals. Many of my planters, and more traditional items are home to a virtual Noah’s ark. I hope you enjoy seeing my little pottery works.
